The Bianchetto truffle (Tuber borchii Vitt. or Albidum Pico) has a light and smooth skin, similar to that of the coveted white truffle, but with a gleba that darkens as it matures. Its veins are white and fine.

Harvest period: The harvest takes place between January and April.
