About Spirulina
Spirulina algae is considered one of the oldest life forms on Earth.
This single-ingredient supplement is made from one of its three species, Arthrospira platensis, an oxygenating, photosynthetic bacterium found in fresh and marine waters worldwide, mainly in the rivers and lakes of the Americas and Africa, where it has been used in the diet for centuries.
Spirulina Smoothie
Ingredients:
• 1 banana (chopped and frozen)
• 1 apple, cored, quartered
• 200 g mango, chopped
• 140 g cucumber, chopped
• 50 g fresh spinach leaves
• 400 ml water, milk or plant-based drink
• 1-1 ½ tsp Prozis Spirulina Powder
As if by magic:
• Mix everything together. Taste the smoothie and modify it to your liking.
Fresh tip: add a few mint leaves for extra flavor!
Spirulina Chia Pudding
Ingredients:
• 1/4 cup Prozis Chia Seeds
• 1 cup milk/plant-based drink
• 1/2 cup yogurt/plant-based yogurt
• 1 tbsp Prozis Spirulina Powder
• 1 tbsp Prozis Maple Syrup (optional)
Like magic:
1. Mix the milk/plant-based drink, yogurt, spirulina powder and maple syrup (optional). Stir until smooth, then stir in the chia seeds.
2. Let the mixture rest in the fridge for at least 6 hours.
