Tasting notes
Intense ruby with purple reflections. Intense and fruity on the nose. Aromas of blackberries, cassis, warm spice notes, dark chocolate, coffee and an elegant nose sweetness. On the palate, a rich start with some fruit extract. Juicy and precise structure. The tannins are present, but well integrated and polished. The aromas of the nose are also evident on the palate. Lots of black fruit, paired with roasted aromas. Flattering, aromatic and persistent on the finish.

Details
The wild boar on the label is not a coincidence: on the one hand, the Tuscans love its meat as a delicacy, on the other hand, wild boar packs unfortunately devour entire vineyards. Since its launch, the Insoglio has been a perennial favorite among oenophiles.
Recommendation
Perfect with grilled meat, spicy pasta and pizza.
Vinification
The grapes for the Insoglio del Cinghiale are harvested by hand. After gentle crushing, alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. After that, part of the young wine is transferred to barriques for malolactic fermentation. 30% of the young wine is then aged in one-year-old French barriques for four months. The remaining young wine is aged in stainless steel tanks. Finally, it matures for a further three months in the bottle.
