Imperial Gold Caviar - a cosmopolitan caviar!
Imperial Gold Caviar is a particularly exclusive specialty. Only the lightest and best caviar grains of Imperial Caviar from the Russian sturgeon (Acipenser Gueldenstaedtii) - also known as Ossietra sturgeon - are considered for this selection. Only around 5% meet the strict criteria and are carefully selected by hand. Pamper yourself and your guests with Imperial Gold Caviar.
Our Royal Imperial Gold Caviar is characterized by:
Medium-sized, firm grains with a grain size of 3.0 - 3.2 mm
Cream-colored with shimmering gold nuances
Mild and balanced flavor. Melts delicately and creamily on the tongue
This caviar is produced by the Russian sturgeon (Acipenser Gueldenstaedtii).
Imperial Gold Caviar - production with more than 40 years of experience
It took a long time before sturgeon breeders managed to breed Russian sturgeons (Acipenser Gueldenstaedtii) whose eggs are of a similarly high quality to those of the wild Osietra. This very sensitive, primitive bony fish required all the knowledge of marine biologists before it could adapt to the controlled breeding of aquaculture. The Russian sturgeon is now a "cosmopolitan" fish. The fish, which originally grew to over two meters long and weighed over 100 kg, thrive in aqua farms in Bulgaria, Italy, Israel, China and Uruguay, for example.
Royal Caviar believes that keeping the sturgeons in a species-appropriate manner is very important and is the guarantee for our top-class caviar. Our sturgeons grow up in a vast and natural lake landscape. Thanks to sufficient space, clean water and, last but not least, under the strict eye of our experienced caviar master, our Russian sturgeons grow to a length of 80 to 140 cm and a weight of up to 60 kg. After around nine years, the females reach sexual maturity and develop the precious roe that is needed to make caviar.
Shelf life and ingredients:
Freshness is very important to us. In order to offer you the greatest possible freshness, we only bottle the caviar for you when we receive your order. All of our sturgeon caviar varieties have a shelf life of at least 8 weeks in the refrigerator at 4 °C when unopened. Once the caviar tin has been opened, the Imperial Gold caviar can be enjoyed for around 1-2 days if the lid is pressed tightly. Please note the sticker with the current use-by date on your tin.
In order to give you the greatest possible enjoyment of caviar, we reduce preservatives such as salt to the necessary minimum (2-3%) during processing. Enjoy pure caviar with us! You can find detailed information about the ingredients in the ingredients and nutritional values section.
