Tasting notes
Almost black purple with violet reflections. Very full, multifaceted and expressive nose. Deep dark fruit notes, cassis, cedar, mocha, violet, menthol, some leather, bacon and tobacco. Mouth-filling and fleshy on the palate with a very complex variety of aromas. Wonderfully rich but fine-grained tannins and a perfectly integrated acidity provide the necessary structure. The aromas on the nose are also accompanied by notes of sweet herbs. Long, intense and creamy finish.

Deep, complex, impressive: the shining star in the sky of the "Supertuscans" beguiles the nose with intense notes of cassis and the scent of cedar wood and leather. It's not just the Gambero Rosso that says: simply wonderful!
Recommendation
A noble accompaniment to a Bistecca alla fiorentina or game.
Vinification
The grapes for the Il Pino di Biserno are picked by hand and carefully selected on sorting tables. The mash fermentation takes place for three to four weeks in stainless steel tanks at 28° C. After that, the biological acid reduction is carried out half in new barriques and half in stainless steel tanks. The young wine then matures for twelve months in new and two-year-old French barriques.
